Growing up in Arizona, almost every house had both pomegranate and fig trees. I still like both today. Pomegranate juice is good if not overly sweetened.

We lived in Scottsdale, Arizona, back in the 1960’s. All our yards had lemon and grapefruit trees. No pomegranate or figs. Lemons were huge - twice the size we buy in the store now and full of juice.

I have 4 fig trees. They are loaded this year. One is really odd. All were planted the same day by my grandson. 3 are very large but the other one is tiny. We all love figs. Well, shucks. I love any kind of fruit except mangos.
