"Evil Dead" star Bruce Campbell brought out his social media boomstick to debunk a fake photo going viral on Twitter.
A picture tweeted by "Conservative Nation" claims to show "what happened to [a] female Trump supporter when she met 'peaceful' and 'tolerant' liberals." The image shows a blonde woman covered in blood, suggesting she was attacked by protesters at a rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Campbell, however, pointed out the woman is actually actress Samara Weaving and the photo was from a make-up test for her role on "Ash vs. Evil Dead." The Starz horror-comedy series follows Campbell's Ash character as he fights "deadites," demons and more with irreverent jokes and a chainsaw for a hand.

One fake picture doesn’t cover up for the legitimate beatdowns being perpetrated in Trump supporters around the country. You see where this is going. The media will hook on to this to try to change the narrative and make claims that Trump and his supporters are actually staging these assaults.

This is a classic technique to discredit a group. Create a story you know isn’t true. Publish the story. Then expose the story as being false.
