The gun used by former neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman to kill unarmed teen Trayvon Martin has sold at auction for over $120,000, according to reports.

The last bid on the auction site United Gun Group was for $138,000, according to the Orlando Sentinel. TMZ reported its sources saying the last bid was phony, but that the weapon did sell for over $120,000.

Zimmerman’s efforts to hawk the infamous weapon have been hampered by fake bids submitted by those offended by crass sale.

I have no problem with this. Zimmerman will probably never get another decent job in his life because of his fame. A piece of history will probably now be preserved and he will be able to feed himself for a couple of years.

b) absentee/unmarried parents (who also use drugs)

c) absentee/unmarried parents who claim the kids are angels despite never knowing the actions or whereabouts of their kids

d) absentee/unmarried parents soliciting/accepting cash despite their abysmal parenting skills by pretending to be aggrieved and by allowing the usual race hustlers to get involved

e) Anyone who claims the NRA have anything to do with any of this

Not bad for a cheap used gun worth maybe $150.

My son got about $275. for his 3-year old Kel-Tec PF-9, but that was with a very nice fitted leather holster and several spare magazines. It's a hard pistol to shoot if you don't want to limp-wrist it. There's not much room in the trigger guard either.

George Zimmerman is an innocent man who used a lawfully-owned firearm to thankfully save his own life.
He will never again have a normal existence due to the pro-thug / pro-criminal media.
My only wish is that bidding could have reached $150K to further help him have a semblance of a typical middle-class experience.

Pretty sick actually. I don’t begrudge Zimmerman for taking advantage of sick people to sell his gun for a huge price. After all there was and probably still is a campaign to harass him his whole life.
