I am so glad we get such great and important work out of our representatives.
Nobody ever heard of Norman Rockwell, you know. It’s not like he’s Lady Gaga or something.
On one hand, it’s nice when they do something that does not take rights away nor impinge upon commerce.
On the other, kabuki like this makes them feel important enough to impose 2x the crap they should not.
I invite you to visit the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA in the Berkshire Mountains near the western border. There’s a small room where you can stand in the middle and be surrounded by the original Four Freedoms paintings.
I sat quietly before my NY primary ballot a couple weeks ago. Rockwell’s Freedom of Speech painting came clearly to mind. I voted for Trump. The same painting came to mind last night.
