Eye-popping stat shows the extent of Donald Trump’s domination
Business Insider ^ | 4/27/16 | Allan Smith

Donald Trump swept through all five Northeastern and mid-Atlantic voting states on Tuesday, in a show of dominance unprecedented in his campaign for president.

The Manhattan billionaire and GOP frontrunner won every single county in play — 107 total among Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maryland, and Connecticut. As a result, he won each of the 34 congressional districts in play.

The East-Coast romp led to Trump pick up at least 110 delegates — more than 93% of the total in play.

That total shattered even the rosiest projections of a successful night for Trump.

MSNBC's Steve Kornacki projected that Trump would need to win more than 100 bound delegates across the five states and about 34 of the 54 "unbound" free-agent delegates available in Pennsylvania. After picking up 42 unbound delegates in the Keystone State, based on prior pledges from the candidates, he far exceeded expectations.

Any further role for Cruz is gone.....he's burned every bridge that ever existed in US politics.

Trump supporters want him nowhere near the U.S. Senate, and, least of all, the Supreme Court.

His presence in the US, where he doesn't belong, is unnerving. Send him back to Alberta.

Cruz's vile senseless attacks on Trump were an indication of a disturbed mentality.....that of a back-stabber and hater. We don't want him in our political system.

His entire sore loser campaign consisted of urinating in other candidate's punch bowls.

Despite coming in dead last, Cruz still believes he won it all. His campaign is even saying Indiana will be his Alamo........ Uh, yeah, it will be.

Proof positive he’s Cubadian and not Texan.

Excellent. I hope it continues, so he’ll have the 1237 going into the convention, so the GOPe can’t take the nomination away from him at the convention.

Another little noticed story is that a Reuters poll finds 51 percent believing that the primary system is rigged. It took Trump just a couple of weeks of pounding the issue to get over half the people to believe it. He is the Master Persuader, and anyone who thinks that he can’t persuade people to vote for him are mistaken. I also saw a story about views about Hillary Clinton where the top adjective is now “crooked”, where do you think that came from, none other than Trump.

Crooked Hillary, be afraid, be very afraid, for you are now in Trump’s kill zone.

When he references the Alamo, maybe he means that where he gets wiped out. Better to yield to battle another day than to go out in flames like he seems to be doing. He blew his chance at Trump VP and stepped into crazyland. Too bad, I kind of liked him and would have had no problems voting for him. Now it just getting sad.

In case others are not aware of it, it looks to me like the LIV msm is headlining that most people think the system is rigged, as they show a picture of The Donald in the background.

Not surprisingly, they do it in a way that implies that Trump’s massive victories are the result of fraud.

The media just doesn’t feel right unless they are lying.

I don’t see how Ted Cruz can honestly believe he has earned the nomination at this point. Trump has 3.2 million more votes than he does. 73% of Republican voters have voted against him and it is mathematically impossible for him to legitimately win the election. Ted Cruz is the threat to the party at this point. If he won fair and square, I would have supported him. but if he wins despite all of this, I won’t. I don’t need anymore guns anyways.

Despite coming in dead last, deluded Cruz still believes he won it all.....even stupidly saying an Indiana win will be his "Alamo"........ more proof he’s a Cubanadian....not a Texan.

Cubanadian..........means a man without a country.

#3 Does Cruz know that everyone was massacred by a million Mexicans?
“His campaign is even saying Indiana will be his Alamo”

Maybe he means that all that will be left of his campaign after Indiana is a car rental from Alamo?

I think he even jeopardized his Senate seat. Loads of out-of-state cash will flow in for a credible primary challenger.

I have to think the folks of Texas are alienated by his special breed of asshattery.

But Trump won all these delegates — and got all these votes — before Cruz announced his Carly pick.

That changes everything.

Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!

I have a friend in Wisconsin who said she would not support Walker when he decided to take a run at the presidential race. She said that he had promised her and others that he would not run for another office if he was reelected Gov. I would feel the same way about Cruz if I was a Texas voter. Using the senate win as a springboard for a presidential run after he had just won his race, and without telling his voters his intentions, was just plain deceit on the part of Cruz. He kept another candidate from winning who would have made a commitment to working full time for the voters who trusted him with their support. I sure would not give Cruz another crack at letting down the voters whom he betrayed by becoming a part time senator and full time presidential candidate.

Yes, I can see how that would be true. I never donate to politicians, but I’d consider donating to a credible GOP primary challenger against Cruz in Texas.

I decided at least a month or two ago that Cruz is a psychopath, seriously mentally disturbed. What he’s said and done (Snarly Carly) in the last day or two proves I was right.

He’s mentall ill, sick, twisted.
