I looked up what a "pochong" was and a picture of what they were supposed to look like and it sent a chill through me. Supposedly, they are the ghosts of dead moslems trapped in their traditional shrouds that are tied at the head and the feet. They are said to appear to people to try to get release and move on.

It shocked me because a relative of my wife who lives in the Philippines sent us some pictures of some ghosts that were hanging around her apartment building and sometimes her apartment. The pictures she took looked exactly like what pochongs are supposed to look like.

BTW, that isn’t one of her pictures in my previous post, but that looks exactly like the pictures she showed us.
