Least I won’t feel bad skipping it on Netflix.

Kristen is a favorite of mine. Hope the movie does well.

...it’s a happy, goofy little comedy. Does EVERYTHING have to be viewed through an angry interpretive lens? Can’t we just go and enjoy the special effects?!

How about some things should just be left alone.
“Ghostbusters” is one of those things.

They deliberately made that black woman not a scientist, because they are racist.

Good news, everyone! The patriarchy has been destroyed and we don’t have to listen to all the whining about it any more.

It’s a straight to VHS movie. Won’t even come out on DVD.

They must have shopped far and wide to find a black woman so masculine and unappealing. She makes Whoppie Goldberg look like Audrey Hepburn. This may mean nothing when the jokes start, if they have a good script.
To: C19fan
I predict this will be a giant success like the latest Fantastic 4

I’ll grant you it would be nice if they didn’t seem to be allergic to creativity, but we’ve got to work with what we’ve got!

The reason the original movie was so funny was that BillMurray played a male chauvinist pig. In other words, he was funny and mocking everything sacred, from the EPA who played the bad guys to social scientists who didstupid experiments and who faced having to work for a living.
unless one of the women is not PC, I just can not imagine it will be funny.

Actually, I was kinda surprised one of the scientists wasn’t Asian. If they wanted diversity accolades, they could have made the Black woman a scientist and the Asian woman the street-smart tag along.

I don’t know why it’s necessary to be so insulting.

"5 times the new 'Ghostbusters' trailer destroyed the patriarchy" - because being politically correct and suitably "diversified" is more important than being, you know, funny or entertaining.
