He is a brash, Queens-born scion who navigated through one of the most corrupt construction industries in the country to become a brand-name business mogul.

NYC power structures all over, are mob. The place is a hole. He also donated to both sides for whoever won he wouldn’t have an instant enemy, bcause that’s what those in power do there.
Actually when his dad was asked to testify before congress during the Eisenhower administration, he listen to everyone else testify about paying off the mobs. When it was his turn he said everything he had heard was true. The only thing that was left out was the payment to corrupt politicians. BOOM! No different than today.
