I know what Wiki says, but I'd like to hear from FReepers themselves.
To: goodwithagun
A FReeper brought that up to me yesterday, let me see if I can find the link....

I was either lurking or just a noob when that went down so I don’t really remember. I’m off to church and errands, so I will check in this afternoon.

I remember they were taken down a year or so ago and were back up on a legal appeal.
Looks like they're down now.

Certain aspects of political speech ceased being free in Canada and Free Dominion was a casualty of that.

"We're gonna open up the libel laws."
From your linked post / article:
Warman has been awarded more than $127,000 in general damages, aggravated damages, punitive damages and court costs because of 41 defamatory statements published on the conservative website in 2007.
Warman rose to prominence during the past decade by using the Canadian Human Rights Act to shut down the websites of people spreading hate speech; it made him the target of free speech advocates in the conservative blogosphere, and on websites such as Free Dominion.
Goodbye FR if Trump gets elected.

Good old FR. Everything around here is either
about Trump or Jesus.

Canada hate speech legislation, where truth is NOT a defense. FD was a backup of sorts when FR hardware crashed.

Goodbye FR was my first thought. Let alone the lawsuits against individuals posting. Lovely, eh?

DT loves and enjoys suing anyone who he deems a threat.
 Nothing has changed much...1983 NYT...

His alternating skills of charming some individuals and riding roughshod over others has earned Donald Trump a reputation in some quarters as someone not to be trusted. He reneged, for example, on a promise to donate to a museum the Art Deco bas- reliefs on the facade of Bonwit Tellers - bulldozed to make way for Trump Tower. It was a sin deemed unforgivable by landmark preservationists. But the only negative comments about Donald Trump these days are given off the record." [WHY - I wonder?]

why? might have something to do with lawyers or all the great people he knows who do things for him?...
