New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo believes that pro-life activists, along with anti-gay activists and supporters of the Second Amendment, are not welcome in his state.
During a radio interview on Friday, Cuomo pointed out that Republicans were in the midst of a schism, where conservatives worked against moderate Republicans.
"Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves," he said. "Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that's who they are and they're the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that's not who New Yorkers are."

Why do people assume there is no New York except for New York City which is what he did last night. Trump should have corrected him but even he thinks of it as only a city.

I am not far north in New York state about 2 hours north of NYC and I can tell you my area is very Conservative and we just love our home shooting ranges. We have 12 acres so we can shoot and hunt at home yet live within commuting distance to work. Dems seem to want to abort the Black race but no one sees it. Pro-choice my aXX.

Hell why not just have a candidate say “screw southern values”, have everyone here get angry, and then have them post a story about the Duggars and say “See! Told you they were scum!”.

Kind of buried in Ted's response was a reference to an interview that Trump did with Tim Russert, in reference to Trump's past positions.
That leads me to think that Ted is soon to expose Trump for the Shape Shifter that he is.
Governors come and go. Pro-life people stay right where they are born, raised and work. I should know: there are plenty of people in my town who are part of the pro-life movement. I’ve worked with them on campaigns here and seen them off on trips to Washington to lobby politicians and attend pro-life rallies on the Mall.
Stop the snarky stuff about New Yorkers. There are plenty of decent people here - just because they don’t turn up on the 6 o’clock news doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
