Eight-year-old Ethan Wilwert wanted one special thing for Christmasânot a puppy, nor, thankfully, a hoverboard. Ethan wanted an in-person makeup tutorial at the MAC Cosmetics store in his familyâs local Florida mall. âA couple of months before Christmas, he and I were at the mall, and we went into the MAC store,â Ethanâs mom, Season Wilwert, told The Daily Beast. âHeâs always been interested in makeup. Itâs something he likes to do creative-wise. Itâs something he gets excited about. He watches a lot of online tutorials.â In fact, Wilwert laughed that Ethan is already helping her do her own. âHe does a much better job than I do on myself. Many times I have to borrow his stash of makeup. He helps me out.â
One of Ethanâs favorite makeup tutorials is taught by Jeffree Star, a designer/model/singer/makeup artist who has a theatrical, drag queen styleâand thatâs what Ethan wanted to explore when he met with Joey Killmeyer at MAC for his one-on-one tutorial. Wilwert described an âimmediate connectionâ between Ethan and Killmeyer, who was completely enamored of Ethanâs skills. âIt was such an awesome experience,â Killmeyer told The Daily Beast. âHe was so amazing and talented that he was able to do half of his face on his own. Granted, I did his eyebrows and his eyelashes, but he did everything else.â
Killmeyer, who has been a makeup artist for 15 years, was so impressed by Ethan and so touched by Wilwertâs support for her sonâs interest in makeup art that, with her permission, he posted a picture of him and Ethan in drag makeup on Facebook...

Mark 9:42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. 43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off : it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off : it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: 48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
No, he doesn’t look great.
It looks sick and twisted to do that to a child, a boy no less.
No way children should be so sexualized.
Sad, very sad.
Either it’s being encouraged, which is perverse, or the kid just possibly has a very unusual disorder. Sad either way.
Cage Theory Ping.
It only works when you do it on the ladies.
It’s not proper for a boy or even Bruce Jenner.
That is child abuse.
I’m talking about lady ladies, of course, not little girls.
Notice how if you don’t support insanity, you’re a “hater”?
"....before you can say 'Jack Robinson.'"
Not clicking the link. But am stating that there is no father at home.
No man would allow this beyotch of a mother to fag out his son.
Son comes and says he wants to be made up....
Real Dad... um No.
End of discussion.
I did not read any mention of Ethan’s dad in the piece. Something tells me that the kid’s Mom really wanted a little girl, and that with dad out of the picture, she is doing her level best to make Ethan the little girl that she wants.
Mom: “Many times I have to borrow his stash of makeup.”
Speechless....
Any comment whatsoever about this little boob wearing make up or his parents allowing such a thing and you’re instantly a “hater”.
“It seems a little innapprop...”HATER!!!”
"I'm a boy I'm a boy but my ma won't admit it./I'm a boy I'm a boy, but if I say I am I get it."
Wow, this is f%$#&ked up. Sorry DailyBeast if that offends.
Well, of course. What responsible parent doesn't want his or her 8-year-old to look like a drag queen?
This used to be called ‘child abuse’.
It still is.
Gee, when I was eight, I was reading about cars, firearms, aviation, space exploration, ancient civilisations, tinkering, and trying to get the attention of a couple girls.
