Back in college we had a summer field camp in Manitou (?) near Colorado Springs. Not much homework, and I lived in my truck near an arcade. At the end of field camp I had all the high scores (5 or 10) on a pinball type game called “Hyperball”.
Four years later I drove through there with my soon-to-be wife. I had to stop in to see if the game was still there and play it. It was! One other person had managed to get their initials up in the midst of mine. Pretty sad that after 30 years I’m still real proud of that!
If it is like any other 30 year old pinball machine, with the unsteady legs and three bumpers not working, and a weak paddle, it is not a surprise. Doesn’t anyone maintain those things anymore? Love them when they are new.
Congrats on the honors.
