The MLB needs to try to keep the sport clean. Giving Rose a pass doesn't help with the other problems. Making exceptions is a bad idea and Rose acts like he doesn't care about what he did.
And all this doesn't solve the other problem: the players in the hall who weren't really good enough but who were forced in.

One of the best ever, MLB can suck it. If Rose did not bet while an active player (if he did I'm unaware of it)I think a case can be made for his admittance to the Hall of Fame based on his outstanding achievements as a player. His present ban from baseball could stand.

Until Rose, Bonds, McGuire, etc are added to the HOF, I have absolutely zero respect for it. As far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t exist.
