Now, I suppose there could be a contingent of loyal posters from India, but I strongly suspect this represents the hot houses we've all heard about of serial posters and disruptors who come out of the wood work, especially during primary season, to push a given candidate and then switch to "I'm not going to vote" mode come general.
Since there are apparently thousands of real Freepers from India, I encourage you to post here to dissuade me of what I feel certain is correct.
Page views are not posts. It they use HTTP ‘put’ for posts, it would be interesting to see the breakdown. JimRob would have the data in his weblogs.

Do you have a way to track where actual posts originate from, as opposed to simply views? It would be interesting. I have a feeling you are right on the money with certain posters — paid shills. That’s especially true for the ‘people’ who post comments about 100 times in a 24 hour period, generally nearly the same thing over and over.
Any chat site of any significance will draw some number of boiler room types and gaslight efforts. And when the heart of the conversations are policy and politics? Heh.

More like the “bash Cruz” crowd that came out recently.
Romney had an obvious contingent last election. It was almost funny. All those posters have disappeared, I believe.
Many of those who actually post are no doubt “lifelong republicans” who are disgusted by “our nasty and mean-spirited candidate” and are “voting for Hillary” in protest. Others are paid to protect brand names and respond to every anti_GM post or every anti-CNN post we make. Those are also easy to spot. I suspect they are dismissed immediately by anyone worth having on FR.
