Curiosity type question:
Of the contenders left in the race for the Republican nomination, who's your top 5? Some of us have a number one already set in stone but if s/he's not the one selected by the country, which other (wo)men would you like to see or be alright with voting for in the general?
Feel free to give your reasons or not, as you wish. Please don't bash others for their response, this thread is not meant to be an argument starter.
Sen. Ted Cruz
Dr. Ben Carson
Sen. Marco Rubio
Gov. Bobby Jindal
Gov. Chris Christie
Who's Your Top Picks?
Ted Cruz
Anyone that picks Ted Cruz as a running mate
Anyone that Ted Cruz endorses
Anyone that has said nice things about Ted Cruz
Anyone else
Jindal
Cruz
Trump
no others. I used to have Carson on the list. Some days he is others not.
Are you new here? Every thread is or should be meant to be an argument starter.

Anybody that can beat Hillary Clinton in all five spots.
TRUMP
...and the reason is that the others don’t matter!
If Trump wins nomination he will win the presidency, hands down. He will win in a landslide like Reagan with many democrats crossing over. There is already poll data to prove this.
If Cruz or Carson wins nomination, the GOP will sabotage them and support Hillary, and she will win, hands down. Cruz might have a chance to win because many of us love him but never underestimate what the GOP will do!
If Rubio or one of the other RINOs win primary, GOP will support them but they will absolutely lose to Hillary. Period!
Roger that. Trump is the only person that can capture the middle, and so defeat Hillary. Everyone else would end up as Goldwater or McCain did.

I would rather have 4) and 5) for four years and the chance of having someone better in four years that the best case scenario being eight years of any of the other Republicans.

Warts and all, he’s the only one talking about a wall. Not Cruz, not Carson, not anybody else. And at this point if we don’t have a wall, we don’t have a country. And if we don’t have a country, the other stuff doesn’t really matter, does it?
Don't foget, the boy carries a ton of baggage -- plenty of material for the digital exams the media would perform.
