LIKE A BOSS!

Obviously a company driver and not an owner operator. That tractor now needs both differential and transmission fluids drained and replaced immediately, as well as all of the trailer axles.
All drive components (u-joints) and suspension linkages are also compromised.
What a d bag.
Yeah, I think I noticed a bit of white smoke coming out of the stack as well. — Fortunately, it looks like the box itself was not submerged so the cargo should be OK.
Agreed. D bag is right.
Even if power divider, rear end, transmission have extended vent tubing, the water level was above those.
Steer axle and trailer hubs would be filled with water unless they were grease-packed (sealed hubcap) and not oil bath. But not many of those on newer equipment now days. Appears to be 05 to ‘11 IHC tractor? Not sure.
Betting smoke is because of excessive crankcase pressure from blow-by tube being submerged. (Depending on which engine they are running) The majority of smoke did not emit until the final approach of his run.
Driveline probably okay if non-greaseable seal u-joint installed. If not, even geaseable u-joint seals prevent water intrusion, but need lubed soon none the less.
Again, you guys are correct. Dumb, Dumb move on this drivers part!
Hammer down, driver.
Looks like you and I are outnumbered on this one! :)
I’d just like to know where the cops were when he decided to drive on a closed road. I know I’d get all kinds of smacked around if I even try to stretch out getting my inspection sticker renewed by a week or so.
This guy wants to be a warm climate ice road trucker and just motors along without trouble.
Just put that hammer down and give it hell.
