What does IBTZ mean?
And I didn’t sign up for this, I’m strongly against letting the Muslim horde in, so don’t say I signed up to it, like as if I support it happening, I’ve never been so distressed about anything in my life.
It means in before the zot and is posted by those hoping you'll be banished. To some here, the seniority system (like unions) and tenure (like leftist universities) is very important. Those who haven't been here since pre-2000 are castigated as "n00bs" who should sit down and shut up.
Honestly, they need to explore your history here. You don't post and run. And you rightly fear the muzzie invasion of Europe. Your very first post. a few days ago, in this forum shows you're good people. But even then, some were calling for your banishment, Lucy.
IBTZ= In before the zot. Zot=thread pulled and a ban.
Your thread came off as if you were thinking Jews get some special treatment, I know much of Europe thinks badly of Israel and Jews. At least that’s the face we see from over here.
Israel gets the short end of the stick on the world stage and we support Israel.
In Before The Zot, meaning your post will probably be pulled, and you will be banned from Free Republic.
People who say "IBTZ" fall into one of two groups.
The first group is sincere. They think the your post went way over the line, and so deserves to be pulled.
The second group is made up of snobs. They are offended that some new FR member would dare to post something that they don't personally agree with. So they call for a Zot.
The mods are the final determiners, of course. I don't quite agree with your post, but I see nothing wrong with it. Welcome to Free Republic!
Some people aren’t too trusting of newcomers around here, stick around a few years and they will warm up.
