I agree, rather than collapsing Europe I believe this could usher in a Fourth Reich type of government that will expel these invaders or worse - especially as the moderating influence of Christianity is ebbing. Rationalizing treating Muslims as a danger to be eradicated would not be a difficult decision once the public will is turned to it and it seems to be getting closer and closer to that.
