I didn't see the CA game the other day, so I'm looking forward to the 3PM game. PA game tonight will be crazy. Probably 40K in attendance. Good time to rob a house in Lewisberry.
Sweetwater Valley is just down the road from me. These kids are big heroes around here. Go CA!
From what we’ve seen, a potential/inevitable PA/CA match up will be very entertaining baseball.
Levi Mendez is the grandson of a friend.
Good luck to all these kids....thank goodness there still seems to be a games with no steroids or wife beating.
TX is certainly not intimidated, and CA seems to be asleep at the switch. I didn’t expect this. Lots of at bats left though.
What a thrill for those kids! And their parents!! They must be on the moon with pride!!
Yeah - we won. Take that California!!!
Nicely done TX. PA coming on now (ESPN2). Should be a very large crowd.
Thanks. Don’t have cable. One of our local channels broadcast our Pearland game this afternoon. We were having lunch at one of our local pubs and everybody was just hootin and hollering. Small town is now on the map. Now if broadcasters outside our area would quit pronouncing it Pearl-and - it’s Pear-land! Long way from Texas to Pennsylvania. Grandson wanted to go watch one of his friends but we just spent a week in Virginia while he was running in the AAU Junior Olympics. Blew the budget already. So many local people and companies contributed money so these kids could go from flyover country USA!
Hopefully they’ll have our next game on local TV. Prayers up!
