I can dig that, but I still thought it was a bit creepy that he'd seek out another wife of the same race/culture/nationality as his recently deceased wife.

You are correct sir. My Filipina is a "few" years younger than me. Though some worry about it, most don't care about age differences. Don't think they are all submissive and have no opinion on things. They are, for the most part, opinionated, and hard headed. If you tell them large amounts of rice, contribute to diabetes, they laugh at you, and go get a big plate of rice. It works for me.
