But some on this site really don't care about the WHY...they hate the Duggars ( for some inexplicable reason/s ) and have spent 100s of hours posting made up stories and impugnations about all of them.

not everyone hates them here- The kid had raging hormones- took it too far- a very common story with young kids of both sexes- the girls said they had forgiven him and understood that he let his hormones get the better of him at a young age- they didn’t excuse his actions- but forgave him- then this pig of a sherrif comes out and violates their rights victimizing them in the press because she had a personal vendetta agenda against them-
I don’t get that. Loved the show and don’t care if they have 50 kids, they run a tight ship. What a 14 year old did should not have been revealed, really against the law.
Churches/Christian are told to deal with sin in a loving, firm manner and to not settle disputes in secular courts. They did that and now the world and many fellow Christians condemn them for it.
I know. I really do not understand the absolute hatred some on here have for them. I quit reading threads by a certain poster because of that. I do not know a single perfect person. We do not understand why certain things happen but God does and that is the only thing important.
