I live near and know the Duggars.
I thought maybe I would provide a little perspective on why this is happening now.
I'll use a timeline as that may be the easiest way to show events.
Fall/November 2014 - Fayetteville Arkansas, a notoriously liberal and hippy community tries to pass a Trans-gender Equality law/ordinance.
The ordinance would have forced businesses and churches to accept gays and trans-genders in their bathrooms and businesses. It was quite a heinous ordinance.
Michelle Duggar began making robo calls against the ordinance. The Duggars used their influence, money and everything they had to stop the ordinance.
By late 2014, early 2015 the Ordinance was repealed by the people. This ENRAGED the gay, hippy, liberal community in Fayetteville and Springdale. The two cities are minutes apart. The Duggars were blamed for the failure of the ordinance.
Soon after, the GAY Police Chief of Springdale, Arkansas, where the Duggars live, announced she would be retiring in a few months. In her statement she said she would not retire before 'she finished up some unfinished business'
The local elections were held and the Sheriff of Washington County and other officials were safely in place. Within a few months .. the GAY police chief illegal releases the Duggar documents.
Late Spring 2015 - The Duggars lose their TV show, Josh is forced to resign, the Duggars are now embarrassed and their name is MUD.
Within 2 WEEKS OF THE DUGGAR CONTROVERSY.. Fayetteville Councilman have now brought the Transgender bathroom/church/business issue back up again. Now that they have the Duggars out of the way.. the ordinance is theirs to pass without interference.

Your opening gambit was a rehash of somewhat mangled "facts", which you have repeated ad nauseam to every single Duggar thread; sometimes many times over on the same thread. Your posts and attitude is laughable and your petulant, haughty superciliousness hystericle.

If Josh was 13 when he molested his 9 year old sister does that somehow make it better for you?
Either way, he was 15 when he molested the 5 year old.
You denied, in an earlier post to me on this post, what you have now repeatedly proved; re your attitude and impugnations against those whom you feel are opposed to your POV.
And guess what.....the ages of his victims don't compute with your repetitious age postings.
Josh was born in 1988. The ONLY 5 year olds in in that home, in 2003, were two of his brothers, neither of whom has a vagina. The only 8 year old was another brother.
The only girls that are anywhere near those ages, at that time are Jinger, who was born in '93 and Joy-Anna who was born in '97.
How do I know this? Because the birthdays are all listed on articles all over the net.
Since I have NEVER posted anything at all that would lead anyone with more than 3 working brain cells that I was okay with any kind of molestation, I'm calling you, yet again on your reply to me.
The ONLY reason why the ages matter, is because ALL involved were minors and why this shouldn't have been made public; especially a decade plus after the fact.

I’m not sure what your point is. Josh molested the 5 year old when he was 15. According to you, he molested the two who were interviewed when he was 13. So what’s your beef?
As I stated earlier, I’ve not been of the opinion that someone condones child molestation. I mean, because who in their right mind would ever do that?
I posted the simple fact about the ages of the siblings. You're still having a terrible time with reading comprehension I see.
