St. Margaret's Tartans are in the USA Today final round for best HS boys lacrosse team in the country! St. Margaret's won the Southern California title recently, which is as high as HS teams can progress. (There is no state or national championship.)
Thanks to friends like you voting in the 1st two rounds, St. Margaret's finished #3 in the country in Round 2 voting, and 1st in bracket. (Bracket and popular vote weren't necessarily in synch, depending on bracket) . In the final vote, it's all popular vote, which is serious business. (Dopey way of determining the best boy's lacrosse team, but I didn't write the rules.) I am just rooting for St. Margaret's, and hoping you will too.
Now, it's down to 10 teams for the next 8 days, beginning on Friday, 6/29 noon EDT, 11AM CDT, 10AM MDT, and 9AM PDT. Multiple voting is allowed, and ENCOURAGED. http://contest.usatodayhss.com/

St. Margaret's is not daunted by massive competition. They demonstrated that in their "against all odds" games this year.

St. Margaret’s came in #3 in the country for the USA Today Boys Lacrosse contest.
The top two teams surpassed everyone by over 80,000 votes, which makes you wonder about the voting integrity.(Computer intervention??)
But am very proud St. Margaret’s placed 3rd fair and square.
