Ah, besides China’s territorial claims inflaming Asia, Russia invading Ukraine, Iran building a nuke, South America falling apart, and the middle east in flames, everything’s fine.
you know... I REALLY don’t think we should get into a fight with China.
If they want to build an island, I say let them.
We accepted that those islands were Chinese, back in the 1920s. They do have a claim to them.
Otherwise, it’s not really our fight. Let the countries over there (Vietnam, Malaysia, Borneo, the Philippines) sort it out.
What could possibably go wrong? Shooting war coming.

The interest we pay China on the debt they own pays for their military, but we can always abandon vehicles, tanks, munitions, planes, ships and lots of other stuff for the Reds to scoop up.
