Carl's Jr. and Hardee's are cramming a summer cookout into one burger.
The upcoming menu item is made with a beef patty that is topped with a split hot dog. The meaty duo sits on a layer of Lay's potato chips between hamburger buns. Ketchup, mustard, tomato, red onion, pickles and American cheese will be thrown in, too.

I like Carl Jr's burgers, but most of them are way to big for me (and I'm a large fellow with a good appetite). Many customers at Carl's are morbidly obese, sadly.
The only pig product that should be on hamburgers is bacon, not lips and ***holes
Let's move eat!
One needs a knife & fork to eat that.
Can’t wait to see their tv commercial for that.
Carl’s Jr. had a decent hot dog at one time, not a great one like Houston’s James Coney Island, but it was just a cheap fast food dog with dill pickle slivers and tomato slices on it, which didn’t turn it into anything much, but it wasn’t bad as a change of pace.
The absolute lowest common denominator of food.
“Now with more *MOLECULES*”
I haven't tasted the creation, but I'm thinking I agree with you there. One at a time for me. :) Maybe both at the same picnic, but not in one big Scooby/Shaggy snack.
They are getting close. I will wait for version 2.0 however.
Eh, not my thing. I don’t so much mind the chips, but hot dogs and burgers together just doesn’t sound like a good combo to me. Each to their own, of course.
Is the name something descriptive, something like crapfest?
Finally some good news....
I just saw a Hardies being built in my little north Georgia town. I am excited about it. Mmmmmm, real meat in the burgers. We have Mickey D’s and a Burger King and a Wendy’s (which is the best of them now) and we have a Bo Jangles.
The Bo Jangles is ALWAYS full, ALWAYS has a line from street entrance to the pickup window - ALWAYS (when they’re open). These people up here love them some chicken and biscuits, for sure.
This what happens when you hire stoners to design your menu...
Food for the undereducated.
Meat is a condiment.
More protein to go with the condiments. IMO, even the best hamburgers and hot dogs are just conveyances for the condiments (some burgers are super, but hot dogs just give me a reason to pile on the ketchup (catsup for the more nuanced), mustard, relishes, onions, chili, etc. Adding the hotdog to the burger has to be a downgrade to the burger though.
