A controversial US pastor has defended trying to buy a $65million private jet with worshippers' donations and responded to critics by claiming 'the devil is trying to discredit' him.
Reverend Creflo Dollar, 53, launched an appeal last month for 200,000 people to each donate '$300 or more' so that he could purchase a Gulfstream G650 to replace his current damaged aircraft.

The G650 is the biggest, fastest, most luxurious, longest range and most technologically advanced jet -- by far. Among billionaires who own a Gulfstream G650 are Steve Jobs' wife Lauren Powell Jobs, Wynn Resorts CEO Steve Wynn add Nike co-founder Phil Knight.
There is a long waiting list for the aircraft, with the next round of planes not due until 2017.
A report of the Senate Finance Committee, Minority Staff Review of WCCI, found that Dollar’s current jet has been used for a variety of VACATION flights including stops in Las Vegas, Nevada, Miami, Florida, and Hawaii citing Federal Aviation Administration figures.
Dollar has refused over the years to disclose his salary, but has an estimated net worth of $27 million.
He has five children to his wife, Taffi, who he married in 1985.
A real follower of Jesus would fly coach and use the rest of the money for charity and missions.
He needs to get a CrefloMobile....something like the auto the pope often rides around in!!
Then he needs to rethink his priorites and consider the real value of his Prosperity Gospel !
Best post I read @ Daily Mail UK site was:
“Jesus didn’t need a jet, and most of the world knows who he is.”
” Reverend Creflo Dollar, “
Reverend Cashflo Dollar,
Amen. The Copeland’s are right up there with him in the $$$ area.
I’ve read they’re strict about what can be said by employees concerning how the inner works of the ministry is handled. Sounds sort of like Scientology. Don’t say anything or you’re OUT!
I am sure he has enough for a down payment, come on Revrund Mo Money.... make a leap of faith that God will provide...
name it and claim it!!
//lol
There is required maintenance on jets, but the bodies are designed to last for a long time unless there's a crash.
This picture looks like something was dropped on it or someone drove a forklift into it, in any case there should be an insurance claim involved.
name it and claim it!!
Blab It an Grab It!!!!
Can I get An Amen SUMbuddy!!
Creflo .... CREFLO .....has You NO FAITH!??
Creflos FAITH is clearly not Faith as delineated in THE BIBLE!
I withheld comment on this previously. For all the good it does it is a waste of energy anyway.
People like this give a deserved bad reputation to organized religion which already has a bad name. People like this are also a testimony to the stupidity of the masses. Creflo Dollar?
We regularly have church on the front porch. I feel much closer to God there in the company of friends than I have ever felt in a church.
Matthew 18:20 “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. 20”For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”
We all have to find our own way don’t we? It is such an important and terminal thing I shall not advise anyone or take advise from anyone but will seek my own salvation with fear and trembling.
With his money, his pocket change could buy him a perfectly good jetliner and turn it into a flying party palace, full of booze and hookers for ministerin’ to him with the layin’ on of the hands and all that happy crap. Also plenty of cargo hold room for ‘donations’ and such. Some people—got it made, yet never happy...
