As reported by Kristinn Taylor at Gateway Pundit "Alix Bryan, a social media employee with WTVR-TV, the CBS affiliate in Richmond, Virginia, is being investigated by station management for filing a false fraud report to GoFundMe against Memories Pizza"
GoFundMe is an online fundraising tool that was being used on behalf of the restaurant. The restaurant had been forced to close due to threats that were made after stating that, while they would serve gay customers, they would not cater a homosexual wedding.
What is strange about Ms. Bryan worrying about the misuse of GoFundMe is that she used the same service to finance a free trip for herself to Las Vegas.
The GoFundMe page has since been removed but her article about the experience : "What its like to crowdsource a birthday dinner at é by José Andrés" is still active as of this evening.
In her article she had some reservations using GoFundMe in such a manner, getting a free Vegas trip, and said she felt "greedy, stupid and desperate." She went on to rationalize that she had done a lot of work for the less fortunate and did not need to feel guilty. Below is a screenshot of her thoughts:
It seems her station eventually forced her to apologize but has not announced any other action. A previous tweet by Ms. Bryan sums it up best..."WOW":
As for her recent silence on twitter and refusal to answer questions?

You could give me 10 guesses and I couldn’t spell her name. Was she named after a place called the Krist Inn?

Never heard so many “nattering nabobs of negativity” (Spiro Agnew) against, “GoFundMe”, as there were on the original FR thread reporting on Memories Pizza.
Now this CBS staffer working the angles and then calling “Fraud!”. Fairly ridiculous wouldn’t you say, and it’s good that her own GoFundMe activity was traced.

Kristinn is the FReeper who found out the CBS staffer had crowdsourced a trip to Vegas.

I could never ask strangers or even people I know to foot the bill for any kind of anything. I prefer to pay for things myself.

I was not the one who found Alix Bryan's own GoFundMe page. Icwhatudo found that.
BTW, she is not a CBS employee. WTVR is a CBS affiliate owned by Tribune Media.

I’m all over it. Her Twitter handle is @alixbryan, her employer is @cbs6, the hashtag is #MemoriesPizza.
