Introducing the KUSC Top 100 Countdown, Southern Californias biggest classical music survey. Whats your favorite piece of classical music ever written? Its time to vote. Choose from our list of favorites, or write in a title of your choice. You have a total of three votes. Voting ends April 8th at midnight. Then, well tally the votes and start counting down the Top 100 beginning April 22nd.

Very good station; it’s the only public station I support. Just wish they did less opera on Saturdays and more sacred music on Sunday morning.

No contest. There is only one piece of music deserving that designation: Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, particularly the Chorale.
Everything else is "Also Ran."
Except possibly other Beethoven works ...

I don’t like how it’s become an embodiment of Baroque music for so many - like the Pachelbel Canon. It would be nice if people at least thought of something by Bach or Handel.
