When I heard what our POTUS had to say about what the Crusades did "in the name of Christ," it angered me that he said nothing about why those Crusades were proclaimed.

He said nothing about the fact that they were a legitimate DEFENSIVE response to the Islamic "crusades" that preceded the European Crusades by centuries and whose atrocities were committed in the name of "Allah."
