After Robert Kirkman dropped hints on The Talking Dead that the show would be introducing its first gay male character, fans have been waiting for it to happen and it looks like it finally has.
More: The Walking Dead Tyreese plays protector and 13 other perfect moments
In the most recent episode, Sasha and Maggie were sharing a special moment together, commiserating over the recent losses they suffered, when a strange man came out of the woods. His name is Aaron and, if the comic books are anything to go by, he is that gay character fans have been waiting for.
Using the comic books as a reference, here are some details you need to know about Aaron. Be warned: These facts could be considered spoilers since the show does tend to follow the comic series pretty closely.

I have trouble giving the proverbial rat’s azz whether any characters on ANY television program are gay.

If the comics are any guide, Aaron's arrival means that psycho arch villain Negan should be along in due course as well. Perhaps toward the end of the season.
That will pick up the pace.

I started watching the first season when it first came out, and quickly tired of the rainbow coalition diversity. They had a main character who was a white guy (with a gun at that), but too much of the rest was PC goofiness. Never got through the first season...though I like the idea of armed individuals looking after themselves.

It’s not a problem for me to start with, as I don’t watch TV. Plus, my TV is not flat on top, so nothing can be set on it. (In case you’re wondering, we use the TV set to watch DVDs of our own choosing.)

I believe I may have encountered a conservative more "rabid" than I once was. :). Since those days I have refrained from characterizing individuals as being "liberal" or "conservative" and now embrace the less abstract labels of "industrious" and "non-industrious" (of which I am the former).
I must agree with you that I do not at all care to observe gay behaviors in the media I consume.

I didn’t really need another reason to not watch.
I just couldn’t take any more of the bad decision making.

The zombies will not attack him because of he is positive for: HIV; AIDS, Syphilis, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea of the rectum, penis, and throat, as well as herpes. So, essentially he can walk among them without being molested, even they don’t want he has got — Smart zombies.
