For me, the title is adequate.
Amazing how many women do not figure that out.
Heads up girls. It’s all in the Theology of the Body middle school workbook I’m going through with my 14 year old granddaughter. There’s a reason that sex outside of marriage and contraception is evil. Paul VI was right.
Anyone who has had a relatively happy marriage lasting more than 10 years will tell you that a form of financial security comes only by working together and learning to specialize somewhat in which each member of the partnership does best.
I don't expect my wife to earn as much as I do and she doesn't expect me to do as many household chores as she does. I'd like to have sex every day (or even more), she'd be happy with once a week. So we compromise on that as well.
In short, we appreciate our differences and don't expect to be identical. Just one more reason conservatives tend to be generally happy and well adjusted and liberals tend to be generally miserable and mentally ill.
sounds like a miserable woman looking to generate company...
Um, isn’t issuing an ultimatum to the guy ‘you’ are shacking up with a rough ‘proposal’ in itself?
If you are in your 30s and enter into a monogamous relationship for 5 years, you either are getting married (and have already planned it) or you aren’t.
She also says that other great guys out there won’t be ambivalent about marrying the woman who has shacked up with some guy for 5 years.
She may not consider herself married but to the world at large, it was everything but formalized.
A divorced man or someone who has similarly lived with a lover for years may express interest, but other great guys who never did either may have some ambivalence.
PS she says that her fears of being single in her late 30s were never realized because she got married (settled?) for a great guy (whom she was already living with less than 11 months into the relationship when she popped ‘the’ question).
