In an unscheduled press conference today, President Obama announced he was appointing controversy-tested NFL commissioner Roger Goodell as Special Investigator in Charge (SIIC) within the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Special Counsel, where, according to the president’s introductory remarks, Goodell will have “full investigatory and prosecutorial powers to pursue any and all wrongdoings and rumors of wrongdoings occurring within the executive branch since the onset of my term.”

I think his days as NFL Commissioner are numbered.
Where was he during Super Bowl week? He turned down an interview with NBC for the PreGame. If your Commissioner has to keep such a low profile during the biggest week of the year for the League, you’ve got a big problem.
I went back and looked at my med papers from my back surgery and ‘ectomy’ is the right one. :>}
