I’ve always drunk a lot of water, usually 3-4 qts a day, as my throat is always sore, due to CFIDS.
I eat a lot of fruit, but I have to eat a protein with it because of the hypoglycemia.
I try to limit the amount of carbs (as I always have) but when I get depressed, I want to eat something sweet. Lately, I’ve learned that just a bite of the sweet will satisfy the craving, so I end up taking whatever I’ve made to the community room to share.
Have you tried Great Value Fruit & Grain Bars? They’re in the cereal aisle, near granola bars. Only 4 Points each, and they’re a lot like cake!
