In every picture I’ve seen of G. Willow Wilson, she’s wearing the full Muslim headcovering with a blonde tress dangling jauntily across her forehead. Muslim chic. I don’t know that she would survive very long if she traveled to Syria.
Think of all the irony here:
1. Use of the feminist marriage liberating Ms.
2. This fictional woman is powerful, independent of her Muslim identity.
3. She dresses like a dominatrix call girl on her way to visit Charlie Sheen.
4. She’s a recycled character using powers not her own.
When will the fatwa be issued?
Or is this just the cartoon form of taqiyya?
