My Mother is no longer alive, but she made it to 93. I was the product of her being raped, 70 years ago. She had the option of abortion and chose --that's right, she made a CHOICE-- not to do so. I am forever grateful to her for the life I have and have had these several decades. My Mother chose life, my life, and it was not in any way an easy life for her raising me with two older brothers. But she had a long and productive life, influencing many many kids as a wonderful sixth grade teacher, so we might say God blessed her greatly for the choice she made. I certainly see it that way. And I was able to be a large aid/comfort in her later decades, in ways she could never have anticipated seventy years ago.
Thank you.
