Actor Liam Neeson’s Taken series is known for its high-octane and suspenseful approach to handling international kidnappers. However, the first two chapters of what has now become a trilogy are not known for portraying Europe in a very positive light.

It is the influx of Muslims that has ruined Europe for everyone.
Taken would be a great name for a movie series about someone who voted for Obama in 2008 and actually believed in his rhetoric.
Taken has increased awareness for parents and for girls. My daughter is 21. She saw Taken a year ago. She’s going to Spain for a college language immersion trip and is taking self defense courses and is completely aware of the importance of hanging with a group. Solely because of the movie.
Liam wouldn’t hesitate to do Taken 4, 5, 6...as long as the gravy train continues. Regretfully though. ~sarc

After reading about how rape is no biggie in France I was petrified to have my kid go there on a trip.
I saw England Scotland and Wales 25 years ago and it was fine. Don’t have a clue about now. But I have little to no interest.
Still, there are many places I wouldn’t send my kids on these trips the teachers organize (in exchange for a free trip) because should there be a problem our State Department is totally inept. Les incompetentes.

Europeans ruined Europe for Americans with unchecked immigration from the ME. Europe has almost become unrecognizable. Even England has empty churches throughout but Mosques abound.

I think the whole premise of the movie is silly. If I were a pimp in Europe, the Middle East, etc., why would I go through the trouble to kidnap spoiled and defiant American girls and expend the energy trying to force them into prostitution when there are tens of thousands of beautiful Russian and Ukrainian girls who would willingly work for me?
Before you send anyone or go anywhere outside the US yourself, it’s a good idea to look into the CIA World Factbook. google it.
