A few years back on a roadtrip a friend played a “newer” album of Steve’s and I was just taken aback how solid his voice is after all these years. Can’t Find My Way Home is easily in my top 3 of all songs that I listen to when I feel lonely, depressed and need a spiritual push... it’s a very emotionally heavy song for me, and to see and hear Steve play that as a 66 year-old man, and how when he is done he just sort of pauses and looks at the camera in silence and smiles... essencially validating our taking the time to listen... it’s magical.

You know... Jack Bruce left us just a few months back (Whoda thunk Ginger Baker wouldn’t have been first)... it makes you really wonder how much time we all have left.
