Argentina’s President has adopted a young Jewish man as her godson to prevent him from turning into a werewolf.
President Christina Fernández met Yair Tawil and several members of his family at her office on Tuesday to hold the unusual ceremony, dating back over 100 years.
According to Argentinian folklore, the seventh straight son born to a family will transform into the feared “el lobison.”
The werewolf shows its true nature on the first Friday after the boy’s 13th birthday, legend says. The boy turns into a demon at midnight whenever there is a full moon, doomed to hunt and kill others before returning to human form. …

While I don’t believe in werewolves, an interesting thing happened on 2 occasions where I used to live.
We had a new neighbor move into our condo complex. 1st week they moved in, we saw large heavily coated coyotes prancing along our back yard at night next to the neighbor’s back door. About a year or 2 later, he moved. Same night he moved without notice, we had large coyotes again jaunting in the back yard about an hour after dusk.
Never saw them there before or after.
As it turned out, the neighbor was an actor. Same guy who played an American Werewolf in London, some 30 years ago. Go Figure. Not that I believe in werewolves or anything weird like that,....just saying....
As for me and Grandpa, we believe.
