Looking at the vast attention given to this Sony hack, I began to realize today that the media, egged on by Team Jarrett, is REALLY UPSET that a MOVIE was not going to be released.
Compare this, though, to the NORKS efforts to build missiles and bombs that could annihilate millions of lives and leave cities radioactive for decades.....
You can barely get the media to care....
Same goes for Iran. Let Iran's leader make an untoward remark about society or something.....the media talks. Iran building weapons to destroy Israel or sell to other terrorists to be used against America? The media couldn't care less.
clearly, not enough people have died yet ...
Nukes are not real to the Left. They can’t picture anybody using one. It’s similar to people blowing up skyscrapers with planes. The government knew this was a possibility since the attempt made on the Eiffel tower several years before 9/11 but still, no extra security measures were set in place because there was no perceived need. Ah, but movies and Hollywood, that’s something that resonates with EVERYBODY!
Heretic!
It’s more important to make the Fop look good with Cuba libre (which isn’t going anywhere, btw, normalization could take 500 years for all that matter), dereliction of duty with abandoning border enforcement, ISIS escalation (war? what war?), Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, the wholesale implosion of the global economy into deflation, Saudi Arabia’s gamesmanship, Russia’s gamesmanship, China’s incursions into South and Central America, and wholesale abrogation of SE Asia, the phony economic recovery and truly abysmal labor participation numbers, and the rout of the democrats in the last election.
Sony’s email hackers are so much more important.
Unbeliever! You are forgetting the commandments laid down by the Won: Deflect, Lie, Deny.
Harry Truman, Doris Day, Red China, Johnnie Ray
South Pacific, Walter Winchell, Joe DiMaggio
Joe McCarthy, Richard Nixon, Studebaker, Television
North Korea, South Korea, Marilyn Monroe
Rosenbergs, H-Bomb, Sugar Ray, Panmunjom
Brando, The King And I, and The Catcher In The Rye
Eisenhower, Vaccine, England’s got a new queen

We didn’t start the fire
It was always burning
Since the world’s been turning
We didn’t start the fire
No we didn’t light it
But we tried to fight it
"We urge North Korea to exercise restraint and refrain from further threatening actions," -deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf 3/26/2014
I agree. Hollywood’s pettiness was exposed and the media darlings of stardom aren’t happy because it exposes the petty and pointless validity of their existence. Screw them. George Clooney, Angelina, Seth and James can go stuff themselves.
People innately care more about things that are impacting their lives than things that might impact their lives. While in the long run NK having nukes is theoretically a much bigger deal that’s theoretically, and a lot of folks survived the Cold War and know that nukes might never get launched. Actually causing enough fear to change a movie schedule isn’t theory, it happened. Survival instincts dictate that things happening must take precedence over things that might happen.
I just found it interesting that the media hardly cares about “speech” when it’s situations like the IRS targeting ordinary, everyday, American tea-party members... but they sure get in a tizzy when it’s some giant, leftwing multi-national corporate purveyor of moral and cultural rot.
Those refrains echo a time when people’s eyes were not clouded by this burning civilization and actually knew right from wrong, and the relativists had not yet destroyed the concept of truth.
Today, truth is a mutable concept and firmness in thought is considered a sign of a intractable rigidity.
The media certainly agreed with the ‘Benghazi’/youtube censorship. Not one called for First Amendment or called out Obama for saying killing people was a ‘natural reaction’ to insulting Islam.
Very good point.
MSM will help Obama get complete control over the Internet. Then you’ll see what hacking is really like .
Hollywood buckled not out of fear of violence but out of fear that more career-damaging emails were going to be released.
Don't get me wrong... I think Sony is wrong with their response.
I just can't believe that with the global problems the NK causes, not to mention the brutality and starvation inflicted upon its own population... it takes an entertainment crisis to wake up the masses.
