The United Auto Workers gained a partial and unconventional recognition from Volkswagen AG after proving to the company that it represents at least 45 percent of workers at the companys plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a company spokesman said on Monday.
The union on Monday said membership at its Local 42 in Chattanooga exceeds a majority of workers at the plant.

VW likes robots. They’re replacing retiring workers with them in Germany too.

Unions and international communism are the creation of the financial elites.
It’s about squashing small business, getting rid of notion of the sheeple owning private property.
People who stay in unions have no idea who they’re really working for.
They are not aware but they are working for the most evil, totalitarian, violent masters they can imagine when they join a union, basically like a Rockefeller and a Stalin all rolled into one.
Only if their manufacturing defect kills 38 people and they lie about will they be guaranteed a taxpayer bailout.
