You might not know what mules can do. They get under rated and laughed at way too much!

The Mooch tried to get Bo to jump over a little girl with disastrous results.

Were all of those animals Mules? I’m pretty sure I saw at least one horse toward the middle of the tape. He was scratching the dirt with his hooves before making the jump.
Most the mules seemed to be asking “Why should I jump when I can just walk around this wall like I always do?”
I think some Cows and Steers can be trained to jump too.

Next year's jumps will be more challenging...

Seriously, some of the most beautiful mules I've seen were at the Grand Canyon...long, lean, tall...gorgeous animals.

Terrific animals, those things.

Mule jumping comes from coon hunters riding mules. When a fence is encountered, the rider dismounts and tells the mule to jump it. You don’t stay on the mule going over a fence.

“The elk hunters best friend.”
Funny you mentioned that, I hunted off a mule similar to that one in the Hila Wilderness in New Mexico for several years. We would come back to camp in the dark at times on some pretty rough trails and you just give him his head and he brought you back safe and sound. they are amazing animals.

My mule, Buddy, is a certified badass. Smart, loyal and friendly. Smooth gaited, sure footed and all around awesome.
