But, but....what about my hurt feelings?

Friedan commented “How can we possibly keep Ebola out of Belize if you won’t let these people into Belize?”

Why are these people even being allowed to travel? The stupid no longer just burns, it kills.

When one “maybe” starts impacting a half billion dollar business (a big cruise ship is just that) and 3 thousand other people....that’s the kind of thing that can spiral into an economic disaster.

The JV team is on it!

“It has been 19 days since the passenger may have processed” Duncan’s fluid samples, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in a statement early Friday morning. “The cruise line has actively supported CDC’s efforts to speak with the individual, whom the cruise ship’s medical doctor has monitored and confirmed was in good health. Following this examination, the hospital employee and traveling partner have voluntarily remained isolated in a cabin.”

FYI, Cruise ships that visit Belize cannot ever “dock”.

The shoreline along that area is too shallow and filled with many small islands. Ships have to weave themselves through very tight channels among the Islets and then drop anchor about 5 miles off shore.

Passengers are transported to land by ship’s tenders and land based speedy transports. The trip takes about 30 minutes to get from the anchorage to shore.

Here’s the thing- I am completely confident that if a passenger called the cruise line and explained the situation, the cruise line would have graciously allowed the passenger to reschedule their trip with no penalty.

WTF is wrong with people???!!!!!

We are living in an Irwin Allen production. ;)

Even Micheal Chrichten and Tom Clancy wouldn’t believe that the Administration would behave this stupidly.
