“Girls not knowing they are pregnant?”
My cousin is a nurse. She could tell you stories like that all day.
There must be some FReepers here in the health care industry with a few stories of it. It happens all the time.
Yep. Former NICU nurse here. It’s not a rare occurrence, even with twins.
Well, I am perplexed.
If some don’t know they are pregnant, don’t recognize the signs, such as missed periods, I don’t know what to say.
I had a friend whose daughter, never suspecting to be pregnant, went to the bathroom one day and surprise, out came a baby! (She was big-boned)
Had the same thing happen to a cousin of mine. Girlfriend (now wife of over 10 years) had severe cramps, went to the hospital and came home with a full term baby without thinking, let alone knowing, she was pregnant.
She’s a “normal” sized girl too, and didn’t wear baggy pregnancy concealing clothes I saw her less than a month before she gave birth and there’s no way I (after seeing my wife through her pregnancies) would have overlooked it if she looked 8 months pregnant. Everyone else who saw her leading up to the birth (including my wife, her sister, mother, aunts) said the same thing.
