Gwyneth’s ‘hood plastered with anti-Obama posters

Gwyneth Paltrow’s neighborhood got some new artwork just in time for the swanky Democratic fundraiser she’s hosting at her home Thursday. According to Curbed LA, the goop founder’s face was plastered on anti-Obama posters with the text “Obama Drone,” which were scattered on telephone poles and utility boxes in her Brentwood, Calif., neighborhood. President Obama is slated to attend Thursday’s event. Posters of the president with the words “conscious uncoupling” — a nod to Paltrow, 42, and Chris Martin’s separation in March — were also spotted. An unidentified artist, who shares his political views on his Twitter account, is responsible for the new splash of color in the area. His account, which features his artwork, has a little more than 3,000 followers. Tickets to the fundraiser start at $1,000 and go up to $15,000. Those at the latter price grant dinner and a photo with the commander-in-chief.

Surely they set aside a block of free tickets for deserving homeless persons and members of various advocacy groups like Occupy Brentwood, etc.
I can’t understand why anyone would support Obama at this point, it’s such a negative. He has proven himself to be nothing but a liability to the Democratic party and America.
Why does Obama do all these fundraisers at homes of wealthy people, and not do any campaign appearances during these critical mid-term election campaigns? If Obama and his policies are so popular, and his policies are on the ballot, as he said, why isn’t he out there campaigning for them? Instead of preaching to the choir and begging for money from supporters with deep pockets?

Rich Dems support Obama because they know that Obama will NEVER take away their income. When I see one (JugEars bumper sticker) the driver is almost invariably a white female; usually young, but sometimes an older spinster school teacher or librarian looking gal. In every case they have a blank look on their mug.

1K donors have to stand outside on Paltrow's lawn and get a takeout meal from KFC. However, for 25K attendees can sit in Obama's lap and share his dessert.

May not make much of an electoral difference, but this close to the election, I have no doubt that about 250,000 people will be righteously pissed off by the Westside traffic jams this will create. On Thursday, already the worst-traffic day. Oh, did I mention that essentially *all* of them will be libs, being from CA?
