Make sure we keep McCain and Graham out of Africa. Then again maybe we ought to send them there.

I’ve never been accused of being an “environmentalist” or “animal right activist” but having seen a rhino in the wild was an experience I’ll never forget. There’s no need whatsoever for the use of rhino horns.

One kilogram of rhino horn can go for more than 50,000 euros ($67.62 million) on the black market Is it some new kind of liberal math that makes 50,000 Euros equal $67,200,000?

I saw a video a couple of years ago of a rhino that poachers had sawn the front of his face off with a chain saw, just to get his horn. Animal was still alive. One of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen.
I’ve never been an animal rights nut, but I’d hate to see animals like rhinos and elephants become extinct because a bunch of Chinese can’t get their peckers up.

Ground rhino horn probably looks and smells like dandruff or ground hair. Seems easy to disrupt.

One kilogram of rhino horn can go for more than 50,000 euros ($67.62 million) on the black market. One kilogram of gold, in comparison, costs around 31,000 euros. Many non-governmental organizations have started information campaigns targeting consumers in Asia. 50,000 euros is no where near 67 million dollars
