Controls? Separation of duties? This is supposed to be a bank.

And it wasn’t a tiny one, either.

She did it over almost 20 years without being caught. Makes me really confident in bank audits and controls.

She’ll do a few years in a minimum security prison.
Rob the bank from the other side of the counter, get $4,000 and you’ll do 30 years.

I guess her lambo and her huge house in the hills weren`t big enough clues.
My transit system had a guy who managed to steal about 10% of the transit revenue over 20 years. His cover story, because he was bringing in so much coin to the bank, was that he owned a series of arcades. The bank was considering building a new wing to handle his coinage.

Many many years ago, like the 1970’s, my girlfriend’s fathers bank account was being pilfered by my father’s new wife’s bank teller aunt.
Very strange connection.

I can only imagine the billions of taxpayer dollars stolen every year from the multiple massive overlapping federal government agencies ...through lax auditing and outright democrat money laundering...

How do you steal $900 a day and not be noticed? I guess this was a public transit system?
