LOL plenty of pics and not a polar bear in sight. The Lake Superior polar bear population is probably extinct or suffering horribly.

Gee, I thought Al Gore, Prince Charles and John Kerry have told us that by now there would be palm trees growing along Lake Superior and Duluth would be the new Miami. Poor Al Gore’s seaside mansion in California must be have the waves lapping at the patio from melting ice caps.

2 weeks ago I drove to Reno NV over I-80 (Donner Pass) and was surprised to see nearly no snow at all in the highest of the Sierra’s. We have no snow-pack. This is rare. This is scary.

As MLive's John "Gonzo" Gonzalez and I traveled the state looking for Michigans Best Taco... One would think that finding a taco in Michigan would be about as hard as finding a frozen custard cone in California.

I flew over part of the Great Lakes last weekend going from Chicago to Philly. I was amazed at the vastness.

I am kind of curious as to what possessed these guys to go to the upper peninsula in search of Michigan’s best taco.

I don’t know about any upper peninsula tacos but I did get a pretty good tex mex omelet in Cadillac once.

Was at Musining for three days, and had to go in at least once. Rode the Spyder up to Copper Harbor, it was 84 degrees inland, and when we got back to M28 by Chocolay and down to Christmas it was around 56 degrees.
Great weekend. In God We Trust.......Semper Fi
