I’ve watched this half a dozen times. The mom runs down the drive to her son. Then SHE runs away instead of scooping him up. ??????????

No mention of the dog’s owners or of any legal consequences to follow. Even on Fox this morning. Just the brave cat.
Sounds like mean neighbors, IMO.
What I can’t figure out is how they got a picture of the dog from the opposite side of the car before it attacked the kid, unless the whole thing was staged.
On a thread yesterday, someone shared that the dog had returned and the mom went after the dog.
She ran around the front of the car because the dog was returning. She was also bitten by the dog.
That’s what I wondered.
Lots of security camera. They didn’t even know how much the cat was involved until the dad looked at the film
And may the dog and owner thereof be punished fitting to their crimes.
The video is edited/spliced from two different security cameras. Because their boy is mildly autistic, they installed the camera system to better keep an eye on things.
Yeah, it was rough watching that poor kid limp away. I don’t care what she was doing, she should have grabbed the kid.

That makes no sense to me either. I admit, the first fine I saw the story I paid attention to the cat and ignored that part.
I saw it again a few hours later, and yes, then I saw what you saw. Strange.
That dog had to be known as being “unfriendly” at the very least.
Really? She was going to confront the returning dog. She should have taken the boy with her? She took a bite from the dog when she did that. Don't you think she yelled for the boy to get in the house as she put herself between them?
The only thing baffling to me about this whole thing is the continued criticism this mother has taken. Most (even GREAT) moms would have been on the scene in 15 or 20 seconds. She was there in 2 seconds. For that, she continues to get raked over the coals.
As to the people that think this was somehow staged...I don’t even know how to respond. Think!
No, she left the boy to die because she’s an Obama voter. She ran back in the house to finish watching The View. Or maybe I wasn’t there so I shouldn’t say what she should have done.....
