Well, he’s famous both as the voice of Shaggy, and as the host for many years of “American Top 40” on the radio. Apparently the news writers have decided that his being a “radio icon” is more important than the voice of Shaggy.

Kasem was also the voice of Robin in the Super Friends cartoons.
And he would have gotten away with it, if it wasn’t for those meddling kids.
