So I was in pain the other day and googled for a local urgent care. Turns out there was one in LA county a mile away. Did not provide "Emergency Care". Since it was over a long standing back pain I did not want to go a hospital with an ER.

I went in and at reception, I was asked if I had been there before? I replied "no." It was a LA County owned and operated Care-Clinic.

She told me that since ObamaCare passed, they are not accepting any new patients unless they are Non-Resident or Non-Citizen - she even told me their network of low cost health was for "illegal aliens only". She gave me a print-out of local ER care that could help me.

So the tax-payers pay for illegal alien medical care only.

American citizens can not use.

I understand the need to assist visitors here in the country but to deny care to tax payers is just wrong.

I hope he/she does since this sounds like BS. I’m assuming the supposed “Urgent Care” is a profit making institution. Why would they turn away a paying customer-—it doesn’t make sense.

Here`s another one in Northern CA that only does illegals or Mexican or latinos only. [supported by the US Govt.]

I went in there and they said only latinos- I brought a Chinese lady there to be treated for an ankle injury and they said latinos only.

My wife works in one of the city-run clinics here. The city has had its own healthcare plan for low-income residents, both citizen and non. (The city figures it’s cheaper to let noncitizens see doctors when they’re sick or pregnant than to deal with them when they’re even sicker, give birth to babies with birth defects, etc. I’m not sure they’re wrong about that.) Anyway, once Obamacare went into effect, the low-income citizens no longer have access to the program—they’re supposed to go get “real” insurance with the subsidy. That leaves the city-run program with just the illegals.

The clinic could theoretically accept an Obamacare insurance plan, but their negotiations with the various insurance companies fell through. Some of the patients at the clinic might have other private insurance, I’m not sure. But after the changes, most of the clinic’s patients are illegals.

So something like that might be at work at the facility in LA.

Sen Schumer (Dim-NY) announced it will most definitely pass this year. Heck, Obama, Schumer, and the Dummycrat amnesty crowd, have done everything to suck up for votes except fellate a latino on the Capitol steps.

The Senate bill is dangerously flawed, and its glaring ommissions WRT the securing of US ntl security, cannot ever serve as the basis for useful legislation.

By legalizing illegal aliens w/out shoring up law enforcement, we hand an engraved invitation to global Third Worlders----all of 'em salivating to ride the US gravy train.....each seperatist group conniving w/ a hidden agenda.

Amnesty recklessly opens the door wide for illiterate, low-skilled aliens, born and bred in savage cultures, here only to suck up US benefits and take jobs away from Americans.

Third Worlders may, in fact, contribute their labor to the US but their loyalties are elsewhere----they have no intention of becoming Americanized....of participating as equals in American culture, our vast history, or preserving American values.

The amnesty bill amply demonstrates that this separatist population intends to usurp the US political system to advance their own hidden agenda.

Republican Sen Charles Grassley tried to protect Americans w/ this amendment to the amnesty bill: "Congress should not thumb its nose at the millions of Americans who are victims of identity theft, often perpetrated by an undocumented person who steals Social Security numbers to get jobs, govt benefits, driver's licenses and more. This amendment will simply require the person applying for RPI status to disclose any previously used Social Security numbers," said Grassley. "It's the first step to helping clean up the mess that's been created for the victim of identity theft. The amendment also authorizes certain federal agencies, upon receipt of this information, to notify individuals who were the victims."

How are they going to remember all that? (The) purpose of this bill is to bring people out of the shadows. We all know when they lived in the shadows, they had to forge documents, forge Social Security numbers, et cetera. I just don't see how, when you've lived here 10 years, and you've had many different identities, many different numbers, you're going to remember them all," said Schumer.
